| My Corner of the World |
I suppose this is a place where I say a little something about myself.
I'm a full time college student working towards my PhD in Geology. I am not exactly sure what I will specialize in, but I have a professor who is nudging me towards the oil and gas field.
When I am not face planted in a book, I am reading new discoveries found in the archaeological world. I have always been fascinated by the things that are rediscovered about our past as humans. I have to say that when it comes to history.... Roman history is my favorite.
On the side, I am working on a research project about early drawings that seem to span across the early world, through peoples and cultures. I'm pretty excited about it, but it is a long process.
When I am not doing any of the above mentioned things, I am spending time with my amazing husband. The time we have is limited, so we for us to unwind we will jump into World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO).
We like camping, watching movies and listening to music. We are pretty eclectic when it comes to music. I have many interests and not enough time to do them all.
